PRESS RELEASE: The 20th edition of the Hunting Gent fair is about to kick off!

21st, 22nd & 23rd April 2017 – Flanders Expo Ghent

Tuesday, March 28, 2017 — The ultimate trade fair for fans of hunting, game and nature is on the brink of welcoming you with great joy and enthusiasm, offering you access to the best exclusivities. For its 20th edition – the first managed by Conceptum Exhibitions, the B2C trade-fair specialist – Hunting Gent has come up with a varied programme, full of brand-new, fresh ideas to thrill the whole family.

Hunting Gent 2017 exclusivities
Hunting Gent is showcasing – for the very first time in Belgium – the Scope digital viewfinder, the latest smart innovation from Swarovski Optik and star of the IWA 2017 trade fair. It boasts the latest cutting-edge technology, intended to increase hunters’ performance, by combining their know-how with real-time precision calculations. In addition, the viewfinder is equipped with a Bluetooth connection, which enables you to record your parameters and preferences via your smartphone. The Scope digital viewfinder will be presented exclusively during the evening session on Friday, 21st April at 7 pm. It will also be presented on Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd April at 11 am.
But that’s not all, Worldclass Gun & Ammunition will present a new, top-secret and exclusive product during the evening session on 21st April!

Since it first opened its doors in 1865, Aug. Lebeau-Courally has always set out to manufacture high-quality and beautiful products at its workshops in Liège, where weapons are hand-crafted. The hunting rifle, fully designed in its workshops, is produced in line with clients’ wishes and demands, without losing track of the corporate values.
A superb new product is being presented at the Hunting fair: a streamlined, chiselled 28-caliber superposed Boss/Baron shotgun, as well as the smaller, juxtaposed 28-caliber and 410-caliber models with locks.

The gunsmith Bliki has recently become an importer of Perazzi. Manuel and Rudi Piotti, the owners of Piotti, will attend the trade fair, as well as the General-Director of AYA, Alex Aranzábal, the grandson of the founder and Commercial Director of Bela Abellan. Bliki will exclusively present the PIOTTI, AYA, HEYM and PERAZZI guns, as well as the TREZOR safes.

Hunting exam
The hunting exam takes place on Saturday morning at Flanders Expo, a few metres from Hunting.
